Hi, All --

The following news item seems to indicate that there will not be any sales
taxes due on Internet connectivity services. There's not much you can do
about money you might have given in the past -- assuming your ISP had
charged you for sales tax. However, you might ask your ISP if they have
heard of this -- so you won't have to pay sales tax in the future.

Regards,
Norm

By Bill Pietrucha.

New York Governor George Pataki
is just saying no to Internet service provider sales
taxes by directing his tax commissioner to implement
recommendations from a year-long commission report
on the issue, which suggested that ISPs should not
be subject to sales tax. [Newsbytes]
