Westnet: IRC Clients


Much like Netscape or Web Explorer are clients for the World Wide Web, there are clients for IRC. Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 users will probably want to use on of the following:

Macintosh users will most likely want to use The clients mentioned above are GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces) to IRC that require a PPP account. These clients and others can be found at the Tucows web site.

If you have a shell account, you can use the UNIX non-graphical IRC client by either selecting IRC from the WestNet menu or typing IRC Nick Server at any prompt.
