How To Be A Smart Tele-Communications Consumer
At Home And In Your Business

The Westchester Alliance For Telecommunications And Public Access (WATPA), along with the Westchester Library System, is pleased to announce a special presentation by Sam Simon, Executive Director of the Washington-based Telecommunications Research and Action Center, a non-profit group which helps residential telecommunications customers. Mr. Simon is a lawyer with almost thirty years of experience in consumer issues, mostly relating to tele-communications.
Mr. Simon will discuss how to be a smart consumer of regular telephone services, cell phone service, and even the newer forms of Internet service.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2000 at 6:30 P.M. at the American Red Cross, 106 North Broadway, White Plains, NY. (Directions are below.) There is no cost to attend.

WATPA is a non-profit, grass-roots, independent organization interested in helping Westchester residents get the most from the Internet and telecommunications revolutions. Besides its educational activities, WATPA provides free web design and hosting for non-profit groups in Westchester in conjunction with the Westchester Library System.

Directions to the American Red Cross, White Plains: Take all major highways to the Cross Westchester Expressway, Interstate 287, then take exit 6 southbound. This is Route 22, also known as North Broadway in White Plains. The Red Cross Building is one quarter mile on the left. There is ample parking.
