Sorry I haven't been able to attend WATPA meetings. They're always on the
Thursday nights that my Board meets. You're doing a great job. The China
trip on the county page was terrific. Although we've bumped into each
other at some County Exec function, we've never talked.
I'm writing to ask for your imput. You may have already given it, but I
can't get much of the info about Yonkers CONNECT straight. I finally got
to one of their meetings yesterday. There was a presentation about
diffusion funds, Bell Atlantic, and a multimedia network. They did say
WATPA had signed on to help. Seems to me, this loose organization is
overwhelmed by the technological offer from Bell Atlantic and needs help
sifting through the morass.
Has WATPA been involved? Can you help us reach some logical decisions?
