Mitch, as you have probably seen in my reply to Dave Rosenbaum earlier today,
I think that, if WATPA is serious in its interest in providing leadership in
the emerging world of telecommunication, it might be better to wait until we
have both the right approach and resources before we make a visible move.
Woody Allen not withstanding, doing something for the sake of doing
something often leads to wasted resources and, worse, squandered credibility.
Doing the right think isn't necessarily that costly.
>From what I have been told, the Westchester Arts Council has already begun
working with a non-WATPA Web designer, in spite of our efforts to date. From
what I've seen, that was an easy decision on their part. Again, that is not
to deny recognition to the individual or collective efforts of our members,
which I'm sure was considerable.
This is an important discussion in WATPA's development.
