Possible magic number negotiation failure?

There are some PPP stacks that do no implement
Magic Number support properly. Since Magic
Numbers are rarely used, any MN negotiation
failure would best be ignored by the PPP device.

Bone up on the vendor docs to see if this function
can be disabled.
