Chris - Which model are you referring to ? If it's a 1530 (purple ones) I
will be shocked - most of those died within 18-24 months of operation.

If it's the 250's they definetly work PPPoE. I had a direct Verizon
connection running with one doing PPPoE with NAT without issue. I did find
with the 250's they sometimes need to be completely factory blown out and
reconfig. If you hold in the reset for several seconds (sometimes while on
- sometimes need to hold in while power cycle) that would blow it out and
re-running the wizard would work for the reconfig.

Subject: PPPoE on GreatSpeed routers

OK, this question is for any other ISPs that were buying GreatSpeed routers
(CPE) back in the begining, before they disappeared off the face of the
earth.

We're trying to migrate lines with GreatSpeed routers from routed RFC1483 to

routed PPPoE. Our end is working, and I have other CPEs working no problem
(typeing this over one now). With the GreatSpeeds however, no luck.

Is there a trick to getting PPPoE to work on these ? While their end runs
all died, the earlier ones are solid and I don't relish replacing them all.
