Re: Westell DSL modems

Yep, I've search eBay and I can only find lots of 20 or so. I need
to buy 100 to last me til the end of the year. I've considered an
all-in-one solution but many of my business customers have existing
firewalls (PiX, Sonicwall) and want to use that with PPPoE back to
me. It is easier for me to standardize on a plain modem for all
customers. We bundle a linksys for the small business customers.

I'm working on the wholesale advantage angle. I also have my own
voice switch coming in next month and I have 3 Paradyne DSLAMs live
in my busiest COs. Hopefully I'll be able to cut 500 or so customers
over to my own network by early next year. DSL Conditioned loops :)
no more $28.95/month DSL lines

I'll let you know what I come up with for the wholesale advantage
program. I'm guessing I can match Verizons residential pricing and
make $15-25/customer which is a lot better than where we are now.
