GET IN THE INTERNET'S FAST LANE!
The First In WATPA's New Seminar Series Focuses On
Bell Atlantic's DSL Service

The Westchester Alliance For Telecommunications And Public Access (WATPA)
along with its co-sponsors, the Westchester County Business Journal and the
Westchester Library System, are pleased to announce the beginning of a new
series of presentations on getting faster access to the Internet. The
first presentation will be by Mr. Joseph Kowalski, Data Communications
Manager of the Bell Atlantic Corporation.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2000 at 6 P.M. in the
Auditorium of the Ardsley Technology Park, 410 Saw Mill River Road,
Ardsley. (Directions are attached.) Future meetings will present other
vendors of high speed access to the Internet.

Mr. Kowalski will discuss what Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL) are all
about, how fast they are, where they are available in Westchester County
and other topics of interest to those who use the Internet at home or work.
This will be of special interest to those in smaller businesses and home
offices who have felt restricted by the relatively slow speeds of modem
access to the Internet.

There will be ample opportunity for members of the audience to ask
questions. Also, for those interested in participating in WATPA's
activities, the group will hold its normal business meeting following the
end of the question and answer session.

Dr. Norman Jacknis, Chairman of WATPA, stated: "This presentation is a
continuation of one of WATPA's primary missions for several years -
providing information to the residents of Westchester County about how to
get the most from the Internet."
