I would like to share with you that Will Rawson was recently granted an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship, recognizing his outstanding efforts on the field, in the classroom and in the community.  He was an outstanding student, captain, teammate and player and we are proud of this accomplishment.  He will use the scholarship to assist with Law School. 

I am also proud to announce that the players raised over $11,000 in support of MetroLacrosse this past spring.  MetroLacrosse is the country’s largest inner-city lacrosse organization.  In recognition of our support we were named a Team Patron of the Mystix Boys Lacrosse Team, a JV team made up of 7^th and 8^th Graders from East Boston and Chelsea. 

Thanks to everyone who made Vail another astounding success this year.  Every year I am thrilled to see old friends and meet new ones.  Next year will be the 10^th Anniversary of our participation in the Shootout.  I hope we can make a push to get a great turnout in recognition of the 10 years.  It has been a cornerstone of our summer and we have made some life-long friends over that time, for which we are grateful.  It has been particularly fun for me to see the guys I coached showing up with children and wives, although it certainly does punctuate my age!
