Thought you might be interested in knowing a little about Ithaca.  Reminder,
the game is
1:00 Sunday, hope some of you can make it.

They have a balanced attack on offense with 4 attackman (one of whom also
plays middie) and a middie sharing the scoring.  The main threat is the big
Aussie in the midfield.  He is a handful.  Scott Goldman did a great job on
him last year, just beating him up and not giving him room to shoot.  He has
a cannon and is tricky about getting his hands free and getting his shot
off.  A low scoring game probably favors them because he is such a threat to
score at any time.  For instance, in their
Cortland game they won 10-9 and
he had 5 goals, all cannons, no garbage.

Defensively, they are athletic, so they move around, slide and recover well.
We have to move the ball and get high percentage shots as their goalie was
the Player of the Year in their conference.  He is big and quick and
definitely the key to their defense.

Their face off man is scrappy and effective and that will be a key as
always, if we can keep #19 off the field by winning face offs.

The key for us is to push in transition and use our depth in the midfield to
wear them down over 4 Quarters.  Our depth and experience is what paid off
in the second half versus
Whittier, we'll see if that can happen again!
