I will get back with more details later, but we defeated Bates 18-8 on Saturday, securing a bye and the #1 seed in the NESCAC tournament coming up
on Saturday and Sunday.  In 1st round action today, Bowdoin defeated Bates 14-10, Colby defeated Williams 12-6 and the Amherst/Tufts game was postponed
until Tuesday.  We will play the winner of
Amherst vs. Tufts as they are both seeded below Bowdoin and Colby.  Our game will be at Noon on Saturday,
followed by the Bowdoin/Colby game at
3:00.


The championship game is at
Noon on Sunday.

Bates took a 1-0 lead early in the game in Maine, but Herbert tied it at one less than a minute later. Middlebury took a 3-1 lead but the Bobcats tied it at three in the second quarter. The Panthers took a 7-4 lead at the break and scored 11 more in the second half to come away with the 18-8 win. Dunn, Carroll and Saraceni each recorded three goals, while Herbert picked up four assists. In goal, Krieger made seven saves.
