Big team win yesterday over the Polar Bears, we had excellent goaltending, solid defense, balanced scoring and most importantly dominance at the face off x (I still can't bring myself to call it the face off square).

For those of you who have followed our season closely, it's been a huge turnaround for Dave Campbell over the past few games. The difference in his level of play was put on display yesterday as he avenged a 4-26 effort in our first game against Bowdoin and went 16 for 20 this time around.  Not only did Dave win the ball to himself most of the time but he also scored two goals both of which came on the heels of a Bowdoin score.  Hopefully Dave can keep his hot streak going against Cortland on Wednesday.

The other story of the game was the play between the pipes by Pete Britt.  He's turning into a difference maker for us and looks more confident each time he steps on the field.  You won't find a better outlet passer at the college level and he made some game changing saves as well.

Next up is Cortland State who defeated Springfield 12-9 in their second round game.  Cortland has put some points up on the board this year and look like they have a lot of weapons on offense. Should be a great game!
