The Panthers were handed their 5th loss of the season on Tuesday night down in Williamstown, MA.  Out of all the games so far this season, I feel this is the first one where we were truly beaten.  Williams came out and made more plays than we did and fed off of some first half goals while our guys tightened up which has become part of our team's MO.  For the most part we played without energy in the first half, managed to turn it around in the second half but it was too little too late.

The 3 Panthers worth mentioning are the same one's I've been mentioning all year long.  Pete Mellen battled for four quarters and is a hard nosed, grind it out kind of player.  He did a great job facing off and winning some tough ground balls, he's our short stick d middie on man down and also made some big plays in those situations.  We held them 0-6 on Man up.

Dave Campbell is also worth mentioning, Dave also played with great energy and determination, we need other guys to follow his lead.

Finally, Mike Stone in the midfield also played hard and made a few plays for us on man up as well as in the middle of the field.

We have Tufts on Saturday to finish up the regular season down in Boston, they are playing well and with lots of confidence.  We'll see what kind of a group we have on Saturday at 1pm.   As of now it is most likely that we're going to get another crack at Williams on Sunday or at Trinity depending on how the scores shake out this week.  Thanks as always for all of the support!
