As it’s been reported on the listserve a few times already, we had a big week with road wins at Williams (the Thomsen trophy is back in VT!!) and Amherst. I’m so happy and proud of our team to have bounced back the way they have after a subpar performance against Colby over Alumni Weekend. 

It has been a rewarding experience to work with this group and to see how far we have come this year. We have faced a good amount of adversity along the way and these guys have continued to believe in each other and have stepped up to the challenge.  After losing to Amherst in the regular season by a score of 20-11, it was an incredible feeling for all of us to walk off the field the other day and to earn the right to practice again on Monday. 

Next up we have the #1 ranked and undefeated Bates Bobcats on Saturday at noon.  It is a tremendous opportunity for our team and hopefully we will be up for the challenge in Lewiston.
