Well, thanks to the efforts of Andrew "Gio" Giordano I'm not sure what else needs to be said on here about the game except that I agree with everything Erin wrote about him.

Overall this was a great win for our guys, we had to battle back in the 2nd half after coming out a little flat in the first two quarters.  Dave Campbell had a tough match up at the face off x where their specialist was winning at an 80% clip going into the game and their back up was at 65%!   For Dave to win 14 out of 24 says a lot about how he's playing right now.  Pete Britt made all the saves he should and then stole a few which is what we're looking for out of our keeper.   Matt Ferrer finished with 4 goals and did so while battling some serious flu like symptoms.  Mike Stone also scored some big goals for us and finished with 3 goals and an assist but he's capable of more in terms of production.   Hopefully we'll start to see that as we get into the heart of our schedule.

Finally, Pete Smith finished the day with 6 assists and continues to be our most dangerous offensive player.  That's saying a lot with a 1st team all american midfielder on our side but Pete is just that valuable to us.

Big one this Saturday against a Colby squad that just knocked off a previously unbeaten Endicott team 12-7 this evening.  Should be another classic NESCAC match up and hope to see a few of you there on Saturday at Noon!
