Wow, great to hear so many of you were able to catch the game yesterday! My guess is you were all a little warmer wherever you were watching from than we were down on the field with the 20mph winds!  It led a certain AD who will remain nameless to catch the 4th quarter from the press box!

Great win for the boys yesterday, lots of grit and mental toughness out of them to be able to respond to a few runs by Endicott over the course of the game.  As is often the case, GB's were the name of the game.  We battled when the ball hit the ground throughout the game and came out of some scrums with the ball which led to a few easy goals.

Game ball went to Tim Giarrusso for sticking a few big shots and finishing the day with three goals.  We've moved Tim into the midfield this year and his comfort level up top is improving on a daily basis.  Our first midfield line with Tim, Joel Blockowicz, and Jack Cleary is starting to give opposing teams fits, they all are deserving of drawing the pole.  To top it off, the fourth guy we've been running on that line, Henry Riehl (St. Paul's, MD) may be the smartest and most skilled player we have on the team.

Once again our close defensemen did a great job over the course of the day and held a potent Endicott attack line relatively in check with the exception of some transition.

Still plenty to work on and no time to pat ourselves on the back.  The Polar Bears are coming to town on Saturday desperate to get back on track after a rough start.  Game time is 1pm!
