I want to share a brief early season update now that we're off and running up here in VT.  We opened up this past weekend down at Tufts in what was a hard fought early season game.  We were up 6-4 at the half and 8-7 halfway through the 3rd before Tufts went on a run in the 4th to pull away.  We are certainly further along at this point in the season than we were a year ago but there is still a long way to go with this young team.  We have our home opener on Kohn field tomorrow at 4:30 against Plattsburgh, all of our home games should be webcast in HD this season if you're interested in catching us. http://nsnsports.net/colleges/middlebury-college/ 

Another development that has already made a huge impact on our program is the opening of the Virtue Field House.  With the temps being as low as they have been the past few weeks, we've had to practice indoors quite a bit already.  It didn't take us long to get used to the space and the field turf has allowed us to have some very competitive practices thus far.  You can see some live footage that one of our senior's shot with his go pro and posted on youtube below.  (CAUTION - You'll see this is clearly geared towards recruits and a younger audience, I'd recommend watching with the sound turned off!)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8PAiidsNYw&feature=youtu.be
