Be still my heart. Spent New Year's with the Vice President and the Racecar Driver, and since they live in the sticks, we went to see the fine independent feature Juno. Four thumbs up. I didn't even mind that we had to sit in the damn first row (Much.) But I'm a sucker for witty female writers with a thing for pop references (see Amy Sherman-Palladino).

Attend the tale

We've really slacked off the movie going lately. Ten dollar tickets might have something to do with it, as well as the fact that there hasn't been a whole lot I want to see. But Sweeney Todd I've been eagerly anticipating. I was hoping to see it over Christmas, but since the film was only released on about 1000 screens, it wasn't playing in St. Simons.

So once we got back, we made a plan to see it. Now the musical is hands down our favorite, so we went in with high expectations, I think. Setting aside the inferior voices and the abridged songs, the movie itself is visually stunning and entirely entertaining.

Bikeage

Today I reached my goal of bicycling to work for the year.
