Know all men that I John Stone of Guilford County in the State of North Carolina, being sick tho in sound mind and memory and considering that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

Item I will that all my just debts and funeral charhes be paid and discharged within a ____ time after my decease by my Executors who I shall hereafter name

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved and only son Salathial Stone my carpenters tools and also all my wearing apperal

Item I give and bequesth unto my grandson Salathial Stone a tract of land lying on the East side of polecat creek where I now live at the ____ of my death to him, his heirs and assigns forever

Item I do give and bequeath unto my three children (viz) Salathial Stone Hulda Phillips and Christian Russeal all the residue of my estate equaly divided among them.

And I do hereby nominate and appoint Daniel Worth, Job Worth & William Dicks to divide the sum as equaly as may be between them

Lastly, I do make constitute and appoint my beloved son Salathial Stone and my friend Execurors of this my last will and testament. [therefore?] by me made, declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament In whereof I have unto these presents set my hand and seal this seventh day of the sixth month in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eight
