Home Network Project
Project Overview
My home network is a bit of a contradiction of old and new. On the one hand, I have a network that supports 802.11b wireless clients as well as strategically located wired LAN ports.
The wire runs use a conduit I put in between the basement and the attic, with the ability to put drops on each floor.
The Internet access is the funny part. It is all shared via one gateway device, the connects over a 56k dialup. Sort of like sucking a watermellon through a straw. ; ]
