Norm, I have two presentations for the WATPA Speakers Bureau:

1. A non-technical business introduction to the Internet and the World Wide
Web.

2. Digital Distribution of Information Products and Services.

My current bio:

Mal Nechis spent over 30 years in IBM focusing primarily on strategic
planning and market development. Ten of those years were in market
development and product development for colleges and universities as a
program manager for IBM's Academic Information Systems unit. There he had
extensive new business development experience working with academics,
software developers, publishers and marketing & distribution companies.

He was a program manager in IBM's Corporate Information Systems for strategy
development and business unit consulting. Mal was also a project manager in
Corporate
Business Plans for marketing, financial and strategic planning. Prior to IBM
he spent two years in investment banking and new business development in the
financial community.

Mal is an independent consultant concentrating on strategic services for
electronic and
custom publishing. His focus is on helping clients to understand trends in
an emerging
marketplace and then develop the vision, objectives and strategies to address
the
opportunities and challenges in uncharted waters. Current clients include
Xerox and Knowledge Industry Publications.
