In all seriousness, I should add that switching OSes is not a cure-all.
With any OS, you still have to stay on top of patches and updates, both for
the OS itself, and any software you install not part of the OS distribution.
A good place to keep up with these things is the Bugtraq mailing list.
Information on this list can be found at http://www.securityfocus.com/
Keeping up is a full time job however.
