It will be interesting to see what the focus of the Summit will be. I know our account manager has been pushing us to sell their VzON fiber product, which we have had some success with.

I'm not going I travel too much as it is. Would be great to hear what they have to say. We have a couple good sized VzN customers as well. It is a great product

We're adding an Adtran TA5000 to our network, and we need to figure out how we're going to terminate the subscribers hanging off of it. We don't use PPPoE on the CLEC side, and I'd rather not start using it with the TA5000. I'm thinking we will try to use a 7206 to terminate the VLANs coming from the TA5000... I know Cisco's ASR1000 product line is the evolution path from the 7206 for subscriber management.

I'm looking at some TA5000s for an ActiveEthernet deployment, looks promising and their OLTs work with Broadworks. I have a couple MALCs as well talking to my switch. Will probably terminate their layer3 on a MX80

HostedPBX is the new dialup for us, all CapEx to buy licenses on Broadworks and pure profit once the licenses are paid off. We are having pretty good luck selling HostedPBX over our DSL network. Customers get Comcast for bandwidth and VoIP over dsl. Failover to Comcast Adtran TA900 series to handle pots and site survivability.

I am getting a bit tired of shifting my customers from one technology to another but ya gotta keep on plugging away
