As far as you needing PVCs and PPPoE set on the subinterfaces, you
already took care of that with your vc-class profile.

There is a MAC address associated with the OC-3 and Verizon needs to
have the correct one. That is probably why your testing doesn't
work. Verizon sees your OC-3 MAC address and is throwing the packets
away because it doesn't match the one you are gave them. I forget
how to access the MAC address on an ATM OC-3 card. You probably
also need to create a bunch of PVC sub interfaces on your ATM
circuit. Once for each PVC Verizon is sending you (one per Redback on
here). Then you run PPPoE on each sub-interface to handle the
customer connections. Verizon should give you a list of sub-
interfaces/PVCs you'll need to create.

I have a Redback SMS 1800 handling my PPPoE sessions so I don't know
how you would set it up with Cisco.
