RE: New Verizon PVC

In the past when setting up a new circuit, I would be on the phone with
Verizon and they would see the MAC address, ask me if that sounded
right, and if the first 10 digits were the same as other macs in the
router, that was it. I never gave it to them, they would figure it out.

Unrelated, but I think that your loopback interface needs an IP address
for the Virtual-Access interfaces to bind to, since you are specifying
the Virtual-Template to be unnumbered to it.

Some commands to help you in the future with PPPoE and such...

"sh sss session"
"sh vpdn"
"sh users"

Hello, we are new with verizon east for DSL Resale, we finally got our
OC3 installed, which is up w/o any errors. We have not been able to get
any info from verzion how to setup the pvc.
We are using cisco 7206 and found some info on cisco site and our config
for atm/pvc is below.
basically the cpe isnt able to login or get a ip address when we connect
to test dsl lines we ordered.
have attached the sh interface as well.
not sure if part of it not working is when verizon had asked us for mac
address of router we had provided mac of ethernet interface (does that
mac address have to be assigned to OC3 interface as well?)

If some can please help out on this, we havent been able to get any
where with vz or if someone can please provide consulting
