Anyone else get a letter from Verizon stating that ATM Cell Relay
Service is going to be Grandfathered and we need to negotiate a new
contract or switch to a replacement service offering?

'In December 2004, Verizon files a Petition for Forebearance from t
he application of traditioanl common carriage requirements and the
Computer Inquire rules (WC Docket No. 04-440) to certain broadband
services. Such Forbearance Petition was graned by operation of law on
March 19,2006. One of the services included within the scope of the
Forbearance Petition was ATM CRS'

'By grandfathereing ATM CRS, Verizon will no longer sell this service
via Tariffs; rather, customers will enter info private carriage
arrangements, or contracts, with Verizon. This provides Verizon the
flexibility to quickly respond to market confitions and the ability
to provide you with customized solutions. If you currently have an
ATM CRS on a term plan that will expire within 6 months, we will
gladly arrange a comparable service for you.'

'If you decide to continue with your current ATM CRS service under
the Tariffs, you may make certain moves, additionas, or changes to
your ATM CRS; however, you may not renew the term of the ATM CRS
beyond the end date of its current term. Once the current term
expires, you will have six (6) months following experation to enter
into a private carriage arrangement with Verizon to purchase
comparable service. During this six-month period, the rates, terms
and conditions of the grandfathered Tariffs will continue to apply.'

So, can they deliver the DSL PVCs over a different service?
FastEthernet maybe?
