Is Verizon doing the muxing for you or are you taking them in to an M13
first ? Are you connecting to them directly in a CO ? Are you doing this
as a CLEC or via the wholesale group ?

The Cisco PA-MC-T3 controller config is very simple:

config controller
set framing xxx
set timing
configure channels

controller T3 x/x (slot/port - i.e. 1/0)
 clock source line (or internal)
 framing m23
 t1 1 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24
 t1 2 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24
 t1 3 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24
and so on....or change timeslots accordingly if fractional.

Thanks
Eric

Subject: Anyone providing T1 Service via Muxed DS3's in Verizon area

We are in the process of setting up a muxed DS3 to provide T1 service to
some of our customers. We are having very little luck working with our
local people to get this working with our CIsco 7200 and PA-MC-T3.

Has anyone else had any experience getting this to work. Maybe willing to
share some sample configs.

Thanks,

Ray
