Re: DSL without phone service?

We have been ordering they right along. Some go through pretty quick, some
take forever it seems (3+ Months). They seem to install the line in a day
or so usually, but the part after that waiting for the number to be assigned
and update loop records takes the longest. We have done probably 40-50 of
them with probably 10-20 more cancelling mid order because they were sick of
waiting and we could not give them any updates or time frame. Most of the
headache is lack of updates or information on the order status or due date.
I had been told that they are Training a team to work on the orders and
force them through if needed, not sure if this is true. Another HUGE
problem is there is not really any way to reschedule an install that I know
of if the customer is not home, and VZ needs to get access inside. They do
seem to be going much quicker (most of the time) now though with better
status but it could still use more improvement.
