Just to back up Eirc -- what you are doing is Routed Ethernet over ATM. The
route statements he posted are exactly what we do, and it works with the
Greatspeed ADSL routers. We also have some people using Westel modems wih
Netgear routers (masochist consultants who like to set up what they know and
buy two things rather than one -- I don't argue any more, they bring in
customers).
