VENTURES CRUISE working team. Let us present our new and
most luxurious cruise, that will take you to explore the wonderful
world through THE GULF OF NICOYA and TORTUGA ISLAND.
Your most exciting day will begin when our guide picks you
up at your hotel between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., in our SCANIA
MARCOPOLO LUXURY BUSES (1994-1995), with lean back
seats and air conditioning. These buses have our logo for
better identification. SEA VENTURES has a complete
radio system with short wave phone, which allow us to have
a permanent comunication between the office, the boat and
the buses; also with other cruises.
Our departure time is 6:00 a.m. from Corobici Hotel to most
of the downtown hotels. Our guides speak different languages:
English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. The last pick
up is at 7:00 a.m. Cariari Hotel toward Puntarenas Port, on
the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
During the tour, the guides give you general information
about Costa Rica, land and water portion. On the bus you will
receive a breakfast snack with apple juice and croissants
with cheese. Around 8:55 we arrive to our private dock.

Our Cruise is very well equipped and we describe its technical
aspects:
- Aluminum hull with stabilizers and Bow Troster (Propeller
at prow)
- Size: 96 feet length and 25 feet of beam
- 2 Engines: Detroit General Motor with 500 HP each one.
2 Auxiliary engines: 1-371 Detroit, 1-271 Detroit.
- Air Conditioned in restaurant, 2 stories, bridge, big
prow for tanning.
- Speed 30 km/h
- Equipment:
6 Rafts for 20 persons each one, 2 dinghies with 25 HP engines
and 250 lifevests.
- Navigation equipment:
- 2 radars. One for 36 miles the other for 72 miles.
- 3 radios VHF, 2 SSB radios.
- Navigator by satellite GPS
- Loran navigator equipment
- Magnavox automatic pilot
In case of an accident there is a system which sends automatic
signals for localization. In case of fire there is a system
on board to extinguish it.

CREW
- Captain, 20 years of experience, he is graduated from
the Costa Rica Nautic School.
- Our Crew is graduated on navigation cost and managment
of this kind of tourist operation.

Capacity: 120 passengers plus Crew
When the tourists arrive to our boat, the crew offer them a
welcome cocktail. During the Cruise the tourists will have available
free coffee, tea and soft drinks, also a beautiful tropical
fruits buffet.
On the upper deck there is a great performance of our musicians
"Los Aventureros". Around 10:30 a.m. we'll arrive to TORTUGA
ISLAND, a place with exciting vegetation and clear waters
that will transport you to a fantasy world.
SEA VENTURES furnishes snorkling equipment and beach
volleyball; also you can enjoy renting our waterbikes.
Before lunch we offer a cocktail, a marinated fish cocktail
(ceviche) and tortillas with cheese.
12:30 TIME FOR OUR LUNCH BUFFET!!!
- Pasta Salad
- Vegetables salad (pearsquash (chayote), carrot, green
peas)
- Lettuce, tomatoe and heart of palm salad.
- Cauliflower and sugarbeet salad
- Dressings: olive oil with garlic, vinegar sauce, thousand
island
- Fish fried in olive oil
- Smoked chicken
- Rice and beans
- Bread and guanabana juice
- Dessert "Sea Ventures Specialty"
After lunch we still have one and a half hours for the tourist
to enjoy the beach, the sun or rest under a coconut palm.
At 2:30 p.m. we start boarding back to the Cruise and look
for the main land.
We'll go around the islands of the Gulf of Nicoya where the
guides will make a description of the area.
On board there is coffee and cake.
During the Sunset is when our band performs again playing
different rhythms like merengue, salsa, cumbia and typical
songs from Costa Rica.
If we are lucky, with the skill of our captain we'll see some
dolphins that we'll join us for a few minutes.
Around 4:30 p.m. we'll be back in Puntarenas to go back to
San José where we could be at 7:30 p.m.
