most popular tours.
Pueblo Antiguo
Price $22.00 which includes transportation, entrance fee,
guided bilingual multimedia tour/show and typical lunch or
dinner.
Daytime show: Wednesday through Sunday - Departure 8:45a.m.
Returns 2:30 p.m.
Nighttime show: Friday through Sunday - Departure 6:00 p.m.
Returns 9:30p.m.
This attraction is only 10 minutes away from downtown San
Jose in an authentic recreation of turn-of-the-century Costa
Rica. Professional actors will transport you back to another
era to relive important moments in the nation's history.
Sarapiqui Adventure
One Day Tour -Price $80.00. Pick up time is 7:30 a.m. at
Hotel Don Carlos with a return scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
This tour will give you a chance to see the exuberant flora
and fauna of Costa Rica, plus show and teach you a lot of
our country's social, political and cultural aspects. This
trip will take you through the best of the province of Heredia,
up high mountains and down to the grand lush green plains
of Sarapiqui. We make several stops along the way including
waterfalls, old churches, forests and a quick hike before
boarding a boat down the Sarapiqui River. We will have snacks
and have lunch at a nice restaurant.
Tortuguero, Home of the Green Turtle
Price $219.00 per person for two nights, three days
Departure at 7:00 a.m. with a return scheduled for 3:00p.m.

This tour includes just about everything: Braulio Carrillo
National Park, Banana Plantation, 2 1/2 hour boat ride through
our Atlantic coastal inland canals, Tortuguero National Park,
as well as seeing the home of the "Green" turtle. During the
months of July - October you will even see these turtles laying
their eggs. One will always see orchids, birds, monkeys, crocodiles,
toucans, etc., etc. All meals are included in this price.
Rain Forest Aerial Tram
Price $62.50
Departure at 8:30 a.m. and you are scheduled to return at
4:00 p.m.
This is the first rain forest aerial tram in the world.
Lunch is not included in this price. A restaurant and snackbar
are located in the facilities. You can drive to this on your
own if desired.
Poas Volcano & Sarchi Ox Cart Factory
Price $52.00, lunch optional.
Departure is at 8:00 a.m. with a return scheduled for 4:00
p.m.
You will need walking shoes and a light jacket. Poas Volcano,
the world's largest active crater is located in a lush tropical
environment. You can take a short walk and visit a volcanic
lagoon. On this tour we will also pass through some of Costa
Rica's finest coffee country as well as visiting Sarchi, the
home of our famous "ox carts".
Manta Raya Pacific Island Cruise
Price $89.00
Departure at 6:00 a.m. with a return scheduled for 8:30
p.m.
This tour includes a continental breakfast and a barbecue
lunch. The Manta Ray features an underwater viewing window,
air-conditioned main salon and two Jacuzzi pools. Now you
can enjoy a cruise through the pacific islands in the Gulf
of Nicoya in delightful comfort.
City Tour
Price $25.00
Departure 9:00 a.m. Return at 1:00 p.m.
2nd Departure at 1:00 p.m. with a return scheduled for 5:00
p.m.
A tour through Costa Rica's capital city of San Jose and
its surroundings. It stops at our National Theater, a reproduction
of the Paris Opera House. It also stops at the National Museum,
located in the old Bellavisga Fort, housing one of the biggest
Pre-Columbian art collections. We also visit some residential
areas.

White Water Rafting
Price $70.00 on the Reventazon River and $90.00 on the Pacuare
River.
Departure is 7:30 a.m. for Reventazon with a return at 5:00
p.m.
Departure is 6:30 a.m. for Pacuare with a return at 5:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch is included. Bring along tennis shoes,
swimming suit, t-shirt, towel and a complete change of clothing.
Irazu Volcano, Lankester Gardens & Orosi Valley
Price $54.00 lunch optional.
Departure at 8:00a.m. from Hotel Don Carlos with a return
scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
First stop Irazu volcano, which dropped ash on San Jose
in the 60's. Afterward to the Basilica located in Cartago,
the old "capital" of Costa Rica. We then continue on the Lankester
Orchid Gardens for a one hour tour. Our final stop is the
Orosi Valley, famous for its Colonial Church.
Carara Biological Reserve & Jaco Beach
Price $77.00 which includes breakfast and lunch.
Departs at 7:30 a.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m.
On our way we will drive along the old Spanish route of
colonial times to the Pacific Ocean. Carara covers a low mountain
in a climatological zone or transition from the dry north
pacific to the very humid coast of the south.You will spend
about 1 1/2 hours exploring the trail under the canopy of
giant trees and will be able to see a great variety of animals,
among them macaws, toucans, jaguars, pumas, howler and white
faced monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, iguanas, frogs and much,
much more. Stop will be made in Jaco Beach where you will
have time to enjoy the beach.
Arenal Volcano, Arenal Lake & Hot Springs
Price $75.00, which includes dinner.
Departs at 12 noon and returns at 11:00 p.m.
One hour after departing the Hotel Don Carlos we will stop
at Zarcero park in order to see the decorated gardens. We
continue through the San Carlos plains, stopping at La Fortuna
for a coffee break. We then drive up the northwest slope of
the Arenal Volcano to view the red streaks of lava flowing
down (this is easily seen at night). Once finished we go to
the hot springs at the Tabacon Resort. After relaxing in the
hot springs we go back to La Fortuna to have dinner. We also
offer a day trip leaving at 8:00 a.m. and returning by 5:00p.m.
Combination Coffee Tour & Butterfly Farm
Price $44.50, lunch included.
Departure 8:00 a.m. and returns at 4:30 p.m.
A very special tour that shows you how coffee is farmed
and then transformed into a perfectly roasted bean, all this
while being entertained with local traditions that include
music and costumes. At the butterfly farm you will see butterflies
in all stages of their life cycles. You will receive a one
hour guided tour regarding butterflies, natural history and
the farm's operations.
Poas Volcano or Irazu Volcano
Price $37.50
Departure at 8:00 a.m. and a return scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The Poas volcano has the largest active crater in the world.
It is located at a lower elevation then Irazu volcano which
gives it a lush tropical setting. The Irazu volcano is located
above Cartago, the old capital of Costa Rica. On a clear day
it's possible to see both oceans from the crater. On our return
we will visit the Basilica and the Ruinas de Cartago
Tortuga Island Cruise
Price $70.00 includes lunch.
Departs 6:00 a.m. and returns 8:00 p.m.
Our bus departs for a scenic two hour drive to our Pacific
port city of Puntarenas. Here we will board our boat for a
crossing toTortuga Island. This crossing is one of the main
highlights of the trip. We will anchor offshore where you
will have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, play or walk the
white beaches and explore nature at its best.
Coffee Tour
Price $19.00
Departs 10:30 a.m. and returns at 2:30 p.m.
This tour is a bilingual (english-spanish) presentation
for all ages, using actors to describe coffee production from
the farm to the beverage. The tour begins in an actual coffee
plantation. Afterwards visitors are invited to a theater performance
which informs them about the history and processing of coffee.
Later the audience is taken to the roasting facility to see
the final stages of coffee preparation and to participate
in a coffee cupping (tasting session).
