This August 1, 2000 issue is the final release of Consumable Online. We'd like to thank all past and present staffers, the publicists who worked with Consumable in a new and evolving medium, and especially the readers of Consumable. Your support and encouragement enabled us to keep going, even when things weren't always wonderful.

In that spirit, this issue looks all around us - towards the past with a history of Consumable, towards the present with a look inside the writer's minds, and towards the future with MP3 and Napster.

All in all, it's been a great run. Thanks for the memories.
