Love and Rockets' studio, where they were recording their newest album, recently caught on fire. No one was seriously injured, but Perry Farrell (Porno for Pyros, Jane's Addiction) offered the use of his Malibu studio to continue recording.
R.E.M. has released their latest single off of the mega-smash Monster (Warner), "Strange Currencies". The CD single includes three live tracks from the Athens, GA. Greenpeace concert. "Drive", "Fun Time", and a decipherable version of "Radio Free Europe" are the extra tracks included.
