The Y2K Coaching Staff, a wholly owned subsidiary of the consulting firm, McMullen and McMullen, Inc., focuses on dispelling the many Y2K myths that have arisen, while bringing its expertise to individuals as they plan strategy for dealing with the very real upcoming Y2K problem. The Y2K Coaching Staff, under the direction of its staff leader, John F. McMullen, deals both directly with individuals and through the Human Resources Department of commercial and not-for-profit organizations.

Initally thought of as a problem that would affect only large corporations, the Y2K problem has come, through such excellent books as "TimeBomb 2000" by Edward & Jennifer Yourdon, to be recognized as something that may well have serious effects on each of us as individuals. The Y2K Coaching Staff works with individuals and groups directly, ascertaining the specific impact that Y2K may have and formulating action plans to deal with this impact.

In its dealings with its clients, the Y2K Coaching Staff utilizes a variety of methods of service (in-person consulation, telephone conferences, interactive computer "chatting", and / or e-mail), choosing whichever vehicle is appropriate.
